Question: When I play a sermon using the audio player, all I can hear is what sounds like a chipmunk! It seems like the sermon is playing too fast. What is wrong?

Answer: You need to update your version of the Adobe Flash Player. It is free, quick, and easy to install. You can get it here.

Question: How can I download a sermon?

Answer: In the post, you can see a Download:Name-of-Sermon.mp3. Simply right-click the link, and depending on which internet browser you are using, select one of the following: ‘Save Link As’ or ‘Save Target As’.

Question: How can I download a video?

Answer: There is no native internet browser support for downloading Flash video files (.flv). However, there are add-ons for Mozilla Firefox, which is the web browser we support. Eventually we will be placing a download link for these files directly in the post.

Question: How often do you add sermons to cdbrooks.com?

Answer: Whenever we find legal sources. ‘Legal’ meaning no copyrighted recordings. For example, ministries such as American Christian Ministries have numerous archives of various speakers available at low-cost, but their recordings are under copyright and cannot be freely distributed. You can stay updated with our new content as it arrives by subscribing to our RSS feed, downloading our Toolbar, or bookmarking the site.

Question: Why does the website have a weird layout? Things do not look right. I see blocks with an ‘X’ in them, and some buttons and links don’t work. Help!

Answer: This happens when a visitor is using an outdated web browser - such as Internet Explorer 6. This is easily remedied by upgrading your web browser to a modern one. We recommend Mozilla Firefox. It is a modern web browser that supports new internet technology and displays most web sites properly. Additionally, it is safer, more reliable, and has HUNDREDS of features that other browsers do not, and can be themed to look, act, and behave exactly like you want it to! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
