Become and Remain A Christian
Scripture: Philip 2:13, John 6:44
Man only does 4 important things in his life:
- Being born in this world
- Being born-again
- Getting married right
- Dying or dying right
This sermon concentrates on the second important thing. Although it may seem elementary, becoming and remaining a Christian should be the very foundation of man’s life. The Christian’s life must be a life of faith. The first step to becoming a Christian is Godly repentance for sin. The second is confession of all sin and asking The Lord’s forgiveness. Then, after confession, believing that God has forgiven. This sermon also explains justification and imputed righteousness, as well as sanctification and imparted righteousness.

Wonderful work. I have always loved Pastor Brooks. May God bless his history, may He keep his future. Amen

Like a tenderhearted, earthly father leads and teaches his children the ways of life, our Heavenly Father working through the Holy Spirit by way of Elder Brooks, thoroughly explains how to become and stay a true and faithful Christian, day by day. One of the keys to daily Christian victory is definitely praying without ceasing. Elder Brooks explains what praying without ceasing is about and how it is done, which has helped me enormously. So many things are explained in this one sermon you are sure to learn from it as I have. Play it repeatedly to get more out of it.
I really love this sermon and it’s my favorite out of them all. Thank you so much!

Dr.Brooks,
I praise God for you and your long ministry. I am a Seventh Day Aventist today because of you, and I would be pleased to represent one of the stars in your crown.
I began going to the SDA church about 25 years ago just so I could be with my mother one day out of the week. Even though the messages preached there were true and accurate I was not awakened. I continued to go even after my mother passed away. Still I was not penetrated even though I knew it was the right thing to do. I decided to go to a church closer to my home. The people were friendly enough and the preacher was fine.
Sir, it was only after I began listing to your tapes that true Spirit of the Lord was shown to me. It’s because of your conviction that I and convicted.
I am truely blessed to have found your site. I appreciate you.
