    I liked everything but the drum beat in the choir.
    Come on brothers and sisters…we know by now that this WILL NOT be tolerated by God !

    And neither will legalizm brother! God forgive you for judging someone elses holy worship! Only God knows the motives of your heart and theirs! Dont allow Satan to cause you to miss the forest for the trees!

    The brother is actually correct; The Spirit NEVER manifest Himself in a bedlam of noise. We should desist from bringing in the worship styles of those that do not have any light (Isa. 8:20) into the remnant church: they should be trying to imitate the worship style of the remnant (Rev 12:17) and not the other way around.

    Please go light on the using disparaging remarks; do you really know what legalism means? Why is that when you try to follow God that you are labelled a ‘legalist’.

    God winks at ignorance (Acts 17:30) but let’s not deceive ourselves; as Dr. Rodriquez (of Biblical Research at the General Conference) once said this style of worship “comes from television”.

    Please prayerfully listen to Brooks’ (audio) sermon #43 “I want my church back”; a rich blessing is waiting in the wings for you.

    sis white calls it a bedlam of noise, read 2 selected messages page 34.

    not only should we read 2 selected messages page 34 but also patriachs and prophets, the chapter the school of the prophets. As seventh adventist we should stop making excuses for what we deem as praise and worship. Read the Seventh day adventist commentary were it states that the drum used when the children of israel was delivered from pharaoh, that the instrument was a hand drum, nor the dancing was not the frivilous dancing we see in the night clubs.

    Its always a delight and pleasure to listen to Pastor C D Brooks, and this is no exception. However, with approximately 5:15 remeining in the sermon, the screen goes blank and the video stops. You should try to rectify this.
    God Bless

    Hi Vaughn,

    I just double checked it and it plays all the way through for me. As stated in numerous other comments here, usually people have problems due to their location, ISP, internet connection speed, or web browser of choice. I suggest trying again, perhaps let the video load all the way to 100% then play it.

    Blessings;

    I must agree with W C’s sentiments regarding the issue of drums in connection with the worship service. This does not occur in the Bible, nor are we left ignorant of the satanic worship in the remnant church that will prevail in the last days as a result of the “bedlam of noise”. Drums do not produce the sweet, melodious sounds like those of other musical instruments, but only steady, driving, pulsating beats. The LORD’s servant mentioned the culprit by name–drums. Having learned that instrument before discovering the truth, I can attest to the fact that these sentiments have NOTHING to do with so-called “legalism”, but rather sincere concerns based on wellfounded proof of how certain musical instruments affect the mind. Those who insist on ignoring the sign posts of warning, and at the same time judge the motives of those who don’t, are essentially -and unwittingly- confessing that they are wiser than GOD.

    Once again, Pastor Brooks has given an inspirational, thought-provoking sermon, reminding us that Satan mean business because he has a short time. We too should
    be about our Heavenly Father’s business, preparing for His soon coming and warning
    others of the end of time, telling them of His saving grace.
    Praise God for the faithfulness of this godly man. May God continue to bless and keep him.
