From I was a child I wanted to be a preacher. I was exposed to Dr.Brooks sermons in 1984 by a friend who attended his 1978 and 79 crusade in Washington D C and took some tapes back to Jamaica with them. I was blessed my zeal to be a minister of the gospel got stronger. I now wanted to walk in the footsteps of Dr. Brooks.
In 1987 I met him personally when he came to Jamaica to do a crusade,he then became my hero, now I have a wide collection of his sermons and I need more.
In my house I have a photograph of Dr.Brooks from 1972 and a photograph of myself and him that was taken in 1987 in Mandeville Jamaica. Indeed he is my hero.
